We are now back in AZ, enjoying very much being home. We are excited to get going on working on a new album and we've been spending a lot of time at our studio cleaning up a very big mess we've left.......organizing, cleaning, etc. Here is a little random video clip I recorded:
In the video is our engineer, Chris Testa, along with our friend Aaron. Hopefully we'll be posting more video clips as we dig in more on some new music. Peace.
I will be playing a solo show opening up for Calexico in Tucson, September 20th. Oooh, look at the poster! For anyone too lazy to click (but not lazy enough to keep reading!) let me tell you about it. It isn't just a Tucson road trip. Proceeds from the show will be donated to the campaign of congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Arizona congressional district 8. You can get info and buy tickets HERE.
Voting is now open for this week's category for Best Rock Video. Make sure to go to vma.mtv.com to vote for Jimmy Eat World now! Tell your friends to vote too!
i have been hanging out in vermont for a week now. so nice! as much as i love arizona, i don't think many who live there would argue it is preferable to be north of colorado (at least!) during the summer. going to meet up with everyone else in montreal later. excited to play some new places and to play some old favorites. touring for chase this light has given us some of the most rewarding shows ever. it will be fun to see what this run brings.
